New Items
New items have a 7 day return policy, must be returned in original packaging, Shipping, Handling, and Insurance Outbound Shipping: Original shipping and handling charges paid at checkout are completely non-refundable. Return Shipping: The buyer is solely responsible for all return shipping costs. Insurance Requirement: Return shipments must be fully insured for the full retail value of the item and require a direct signature upon delivery. We are not liable for return shipments that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Non-Refundable Trial & Restocking Fee Pursuant to California retail standards, all online purchases are subject to a 4% Non-Refundable Trial & Restocking Fee. If you return the item, this fee is strictly non-refundable and will be withheld from your final refund to cover mandatory merchant credit card processing fees, administration, and consignment labor costs.

ALL CONSIGNMENT SALES ARE FINAL (EXCLUDING SADDLE TRIALS)
1.Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1732, please note that ALL ITEMS PURCHASED FROM OUR CONSIGNMENT INVENTORY - INCLUDING TACK, CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES- ARE STRICTLY FINAL SALE. No returns, exchanges, or store credits will be issued under any circumstances. The only exception to this policy is our saddle trial program, which applies exclusively to saddles purchased online under the strict 4day parameters outlined below.
ONLINE SADDLE PURCHASE & 4-DAY TRIAL POLICY
1.Trial Period Activation & Timeline All saddles purchased online qualify for a strict 4-Day Trial Period. Day 1 begins automatically on the calendar day the third-party shipping carrier marks the package as "Delivered" to your shipping address. Day 4 ends at 11:59 PM PST on the fourth calendar day following delivery. To initiate a return, you must notify us via email and have the return shipment scanned and accepted by your shipping carrier on or before Day 4. Late return drop-offs will not be accepted, and the transaction will automatically convert to a Final Sale.
2. Non-Refundable Trial & Restocking Fee Pursuant to California retail standards, all online saddle purchases are subject to a 4% Non-Refundable Trial & Restocking Fee. If you keep the saddle, this fee is fully applied to your final purchase. If you return the saddle, this fee is strictly non-refundable and will be withheld from your final refund to cover mandatory merchant credit card processing fees, administration, and consignment labor costs.
3. Shipping, Handling, and Insurance Outbound Shipping: Original shipping and handling charges paid at checkout are completely non-refundable. Return Shipping: The buyer is solely responsible for all return shipping costs. Insurance Requirement: Return shipments must be fully insured for the full retail value of the saddle and require a direct signature upon delivery. We are not liable for return shipments that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.
4. Condition of Merchandise & Consignment Protection Many saddles in our inventory are sold on behalf of third-party consignors. To protect our consignors' legal property, saddles must be returned in the exact condition in which they left our facility. You may test the saddle using a clean saddle pad and wrapped stirrup leathers to prevent marking the flaps. Do not ride in the rain, oil the leather, or alter the saddle in any way during the trial. Surcharges: Any returned saddle showing new signs of wear, scratches, dirt, tree stress, or structural changes will be subject to a minimum 15% damage depreciation fee deducted from the refund, or rejected entirely at our sole discretion, converting the transaction into a Final Sale.

What we collect

We collect user provided information. Information is collected through the use of web forms including but not limited to contact forms, sign up forms and checkout forms. User information collected for example would be names, email addresses and phone numbers. If you make a purchase through our website payments are processed through a trusted third party encrypted gateway. Stirrup Saddle and Tack Co LLC  does not collect and store credit card information. All payment details are handled by the secure third party processor.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • We may use the information to improve our products and services

Shipping and Handling

All orders are prepared for shipment after completed checkout. Please allow for up to 48 hours to prepare shipments.

Orders are shipped using the selected method you as the customer chooses during checkout. Once location is entered, shipping fee is calculated. 

For local orders we offer an in-store pick up option! 

We do not issue refunds for lost, unclaimed, or undeliverable packages. If a package is damaged during transit or returned as undeliverable/unclaimed, it is the customer's responsibility to follow up with the shipping carrier.  We will provide a tracking number for all shipments.
